Where they are strong
- The most complete iOS app in the category by a distance: flexible date ranges, period comparison, trend charts with drill-down, custom presets, metric filtering, tag management and multi-account support.
- Genuinely broad tooling — sitemap management, URL inspection, PageSpeed and Core Web Vitals, home-screen widgets, AI-generated reports and a dashboard watchlist with movers and shakers.
- Four years of ratings ahead of us: 183 of them, averaging 4.0★. We have none, because we have not launched.
Where they fall short
- Multi-site access is behind the paywall. If you manage properties for clients, the free tier does not really work for you.
- The review threads we read on 12 September 2026 object to paying for data that is free on the web.
- The plan ladder starts at $1.99 per week — $103 a year if you never notice — next to a $34.99 annual plan.
- iOS 26 minimum, the same floor we have, so neither app helps anyone on older hardware.
- Review threads repeatedly raise discomfort about a third-party app holding Google credentials. The listing does not explain where the token goes.
What QueryWatch does differently
- Every property you have access to is on the free tier, with real data on each. We never price by the number of sites.
- No weekly plan. Pro is $3.99 a month or $29.99 a year, which is $5 under their annual price.
- We say plainly where your Google token lives — on your device, unless you turn on push alerts — and give you a one-tap delete.
- Striking distance, the cannibalization detector, white-label PDF export and Lock Screen widgets are not in their listing.
